Orthopedic Rehabilitation focuses on problems of the musculoskeletal system – muscles, bones, ligaments and tendons. The goal of the Metro therapeutic staff is to diagnose, manage and treat injuries of the musculoskeletal system and rehabilitate patients right after orthopedic operations. At Physical Therapy & Aquatics By The Sea, our therapists specialize in treating post operative injuries due to sporting activities , tramatic injury and normal wear n tear.

Orthopedic Rehabilitation is essential to restore the patient’s activity, strength and motion right after injury or surgery. Orthopedic patients typically have deficiencies and weaknesses which could be eliminated or alleviated via specific targeted workouts. A specialized therapist will show the patient and teach them the appropriate workouts designed to restore and enhance function and minimize the problems. Orthopedic therapist’s are educated about surgical procedures and are able to adapt and adjust their knowledge to treat each individual patient.

The Back Program at Physical Therapy & Aquatics (PTA)  is a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program designed to decrease back pain, increase function, and provide you education on a home maintenance program to ensure you a quick and safe return to your job and lifestyle.

Balance Training

Our fall and balance disorder program treats and rehabilitates individuals with dizziness and balance disorders. Using a multidisciplinary team approach with the latest skills, patients with vertigo, imbalance, or movement coordination problems can be effectively treated.
Balance training can successfully treat most types of balance disorders. The therapy consists of special exercises that are provided by a licensed therapist. Some of the procedure we incorporate into your program include:
