Jay Scheurer is the proud founder of Metro Physical Therapy & Aquatics By The Sea in 2005 with his partner Brittany Liguori DPT. He received his Associates in Physical Therapy from Touro College in Manhattan and his Bachelors of Business Admistration from Pace University. He has taken extensive cont education courses on Mackenzie A, B treatment of Cervical and Lumbar spine, Functional orthopedics on advancement of hands on techniques in orthopedic rehabilitation , Vestibular rehabilitation treatment with patients with vertigo/ BPPV and countless others to enhance his clinical background. Mr. Scheurer has worked with semi professional and professional athletes in orthopedic rehabilitation. Jay was an active member in the professional ATP Tennis Tour health care team in assistance of treatment of professional tennis athletes that include Andre Agassi and James Blake for four years. He is active in the Arthritis foundation and has done extensive community education in the areas of Orthopedic injuries and rehabilitation. Mr. Scheurer has practiced extensively in an outpatient setting, sub acute centers, traumatic brain injury unit and sports facilities.

Brittany Cannizzaro received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University, New York. Brittany earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Fatima Rodas has been with Metro PT from the very beginning in 2005. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Farmingdale State College. She coordinates human resources, staff training, marketing. In addition to managing the office, Ms. Rodas also handles all of the insurance and billing needs for the office. She enjoys working with patients to resolve any issues. She oversees day to day operations as well as long term goals for the practice. At her leisure, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Michael Pinckney has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Delaware. Michael earned his BA in Biological Sciences from University of Delaware in 2002. On his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and loves sports.
Jessica Moskowitz received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury. Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Massachusetts where she graduated in 2001.
